Do you work too hard?

Unknown-1I work with a lot of triathletes one to one – I also work with a lot of members of the public one to one and there is a difference.

When I refer to the public, I mean non competitive people.

People who generally just want to look good and be healthy.

It won’t come as a surprise that there is a difference in terms of attitude between these two populations.

The general public:
Want results with minimal training
Whinge a lot
Aren’t as prepared to change their habits
Want to drink at the weekend and eat crap and wonder why they don’t have a six pack
Are NOT driven to succeed, they want it for free
The Triathlete:
Typically a driven, Type A personality
Are willing to outrain their bad diet
Think more is always better
Worry they are not hitting training hard enough, so do some more
Are prepared to spend thousands on a bike that doesn’t make them any faster!
Neither of the above have a full set of the characteristics to achieve the levels of leanness that want.

You see, the triathletes desire to always work harder and do more can be a HUGE hinderance to progress with body composition.

Increasing training volume leads to more stress.

Decreasing calories drastically to lose fat, leads to more stress.

Wondering why the above strategy isn’t working, leads to more stress.

The triathlete often needs to be reigned in.

Told to eat more of the right thing.

To focus on quality NOT quantity but that only works if you know exactly what to eat and when.

This is where my private coaching group – The Total Triathlete come in:

The Total Triathlete

This week, I am going to produce a video on exactly what to eat and when.

That will be accompanied by a meal plan.

If my recommendations don’t fit with your daily challenges, then simply ask me how you can work it out for you?

The plan can be tweaked and made to fit you.

Your circumstances.

Your training.

Your life.

But only if you sign up below:

It’s only £10 a month ($12 ish) – it really is a NO brainer:
