Are you really hungry?

imageI heard on the radio the other day that 88% of people with New Years Resolutions will have given up by the end of this week.

That is insane – they are only just getting started. But why, so soon??

I think there are a number of reasons but my number 1 is that they over face themselves.

No not with chocolate biscuits!!

The task ahead is so big that they cant possibly see how they can ever achieve it – so they just think **** it!

I hope this isn’t you.

Does this cycle sound familiar?

You set a goal.

You start off and all is good.

Then you are faced with an event which interrupts that goal.

Maybe you get ill, maybe its your birthday, maybe a mates wedding.

Whatever it is, you face a choice and it may lead you off track.

Its then really hard to get back on track, you try half heartedly and then just revert back to where you were before the goal.

You stop thinking about that goal because it is too painful.

But that my friend is where the problem lies.

Think deeply and let yourself feel that pain, because it is that pain which is your rocket fuel.

It hurts to look in the mirror and not be happy, to stand on the scales and see no progress – so you avoid it.

Then you don’t feel the pain and then you don’t act and you have given up.

You could however be like my client Joe – 2.5KG’s down this year and we haven’t even started with the real magic yet.

Joe is an action taker and he made the decision to work with me, because the pain of running slow and heavy was too much.

Because……..

He wanted to be fitter, faster and ultimately live longer.

Fair play Joe – you cant argue with that.

Its why this week I’ve had 5 new clients sign up, because they’re ready to make it happen and stop waiting for the right time.

They’re are 2 spots from next week for other people who are ready – don’t bother if you’re not!!
