How to eat more and lose fat

Unknown-1When trying to lose some weight the obvious thing to do is eat less or exercise more.

As my regular readers will know, whilst I accept this will help especially at the beginning of your journey, there is only so much LESS food you can eat and MORE training you can do.

So let me explain how eating more can help – It’s not what you think.

The first thing is obviously the type of food.

If you eat only single ingredient, non processed food I believe you can eat a huge amount more.

Why?

Firstly but less importantly it has less calories per mouthful – Think about that.

More importantly it takes more effort for the body to break it down (Thermic Effect of Feeding – TEF), this expends energy.

More importantly than that is this:

Processed foods are just that – processed.

Which in turn means they tend to take less to digest and are more easily absorbed as energy.

Food which remains more “natural” is harder to digest and hence more tends to be excreted.

A good example of this is:

Research has shown more energy is absorbed from peanut butter than from peanuts.

It seemed that around 38% of the fat in peanuts was excreted from the peanuts, where all from the butter was absorbed – Thats a HUGE difference!

I guess all of us can see how this makes sense?

But it does show how what you eat is not just simply a matter of calories in vs calories out.

Not only does this show us how the calories on the back of a packet may not be absorbed but there is also the issue of how the calories on the packet may be inaccurate – It is reported to be as much as 25% out.

Complicated isn’t it?

So you need help.

This is why I’ve developed “The Total Triathlete” http://www.nutri-tri.com/the-total-triathlete/

This is a monthly subscription service which includes:

  • Private Facebook Group membership where:
    •  I critique your days nutrition.
    • Weekly weigh in’s and measurements

  • Monthly (1st each month) on line magazine which includes in depth (more so than this email)
    • nutrition advice.
    • Strength and Conditioning info
    • Coaching Corner from L3 BTF Coach
    • Recipes
    • Workouts of the Week – WOW

And you can Unsubscribe any time if you don’t like it.

The fact you will get as many critique’s of your daily nutrition as you like is worth a fortune so for £10 a month this really is VERY cheap.

This combined with the support of a community of triathletes to help you through your journey and the online magazine makes this by far the best value product out there.

If you get on this now you will never pay more than £10 per month but the price is likely to double.

So, don’t procrastinate give it a go:

Don’t like it, leave any time

No hard feelings.
