Why this week won’t be any different

Unknown-2Good intentions are all well and good but as we all know, none of them mean anything if we don’t act on them.

When I was at school and University, I used to love a revision plan.

I’d get all my highlighters out and put together something which looked pretty impressive.

But more than that, if I’d actually followed the plan, I would have achieved my targets – Which I didn’t!

The fact was, that I knew what to do – roughly – I just didn’t do it.

The same is true of losing weight.

It genuinely isn’t rocket science as we all know, so why can’t people do it?

There are a whole host of reasons which are all legitimate, like:
Under reporting calories
Over reporting exercise
Eating the WRONG carbs at the WRONG times
NOT eating enough fat
But…..

More than anything, I think the reason people fail is the same reason any of us fail at anything:

We come up with an idea and we feel passionate and motivated to get it done.

Then though, life gets in the way.

Other things get in our head, day to day stuff which distracts us and essentially makes us forget what we really want.

This cycle of being motivated, getting distracted, forgetting and then starting all over again is remarkably common.

Unfortunately it means we just stand still.

I know first hand – it took me years and many failed attempts to lose my fat.

The sad thing for me and many others, is that if I had just spoke to someone who knew this and who could have helped me I would NOT have wasted those years.

And that would have meant more years happier, more years more confident, more years healthier and more years as abetter athlete.

This is precisely why I set up my private nutrition coaching group – The Total Triathlete:

The Total Triathlete

To give people who are motivated a shortcut to achieving their goals.

To receive a nutrition plan

To have your questions answered

To be supported

To NOT be the only voice in your head when things get tough.

This is done through the private Facebook group where you can contribute as much as you like or just observe, either way it is an educational service.

It’s only £10 a month (12 ish USD) and you can leave any time.

On sign up you get a copy of my book which is £10 which basically makes the first month FREE.

Do this now and you give yourself a far better chance of making this week the one where something changes for the better.

Or,

Keep making excuses and wait till January!

The Total Triathlete
