It’s not what you know

I would wager that most triathletes know enough when it comes to training and nutrition.

That is, enough to get results.

Whether that is the results they want, is a different matter – that will depend on your goals.

Either way, I do NOT think that lack of knowledge is the number one thing that holds people back.

Certainly when it comes to nutrition.

The overwhelming issue is:

Adherence.

We live in a world of information overload with constant temptations and mixed messages.

The average weight loss seeker then, will set out on their journey, only to be tempted away by a BETTER method a couple of weeks later.

The sad thing here is that very often, the method they have chose is working, maybe just not as quickly as they want.

It’s the same reason people jump from training plan to training plan, looking for the BEST plan.

Have you ever heard the expression:

“The best training plan is the one you are not doing”

This sadly is the reason each plan doesn’t reach its maximum potential.

Whats the answer?

Simply it is to have reassurance and support from those who understand.
