Wetsuit a bit tight?

It’s getting to that time of year where you are likely going to dust off the wetsuit and brave the icy depths.

For some people this provokes many fears:
Not being able to see the bottom
Not being able to stand up in the lake if you get tired
Getting hit by other swimmers
For some people thought the greatest fear is putting on the wetsuit and seeing the bulges in all the wrong places.

Lets be honest – they are NOT built to flatter!

As a triathlete, it is NOT likely that your main aim is to look in phenomenal shape.

You want to be able to swim, bike and run fast and feel fit and healthy.

The thing is ……..

Carrying extra baggage is one of the surest ways to make sure you are not fast on the bike and run, probably not as healthy as you could be and you won’t look in great shape.

The last one can be frustrating when you spend so much time training.

Surely you should look more like an athlete??

If you’ve heard the expression:

“You can’t outrain a bad diet”

Then you will likely know why you are not in the best shape you could be.
