6000 calories a day

Apparently, that’s the number of calories consumed by many people on Christmas day – That is a LOT!

It’s also the amount many elite endurance athletes will consume daily, which is a real challenge.

Unfortunately or fortunately for you, this is not something you need to do.

You see, the elites are different to you.

– They train more
– They train harder
– They are genetically superior
– They are probably younger
– Training is there number one priority

So it goes without saying that apart from in truly exceptional circumstances, you do not need to eat 6000 calories a day.

Apart from trying to make you feel guilty about yesterdays excess, there is another reason for this email.

In this “no mans land”  between Christmas and New Year, the chances are though you are thinking about getting back to training.

Probably training harder than before.

All in the quest for speed, health and maybe even looking darn sexy (nothing wrong with that).

So what are you going to do?

Well if there is one thing we can learn from the elites, it is that they are surrounded by support.

They have coaches for everything.

Which is precisely why I setup my coaching group – The Total Triathlete:

http://www.nutri-tri.com/the-total-triathlete/

Inside you get:

– Training plans
– S&C plans
– Mobilisation and flexibility plans
– Meal Plans
– Race day nutrition guides
– Weekly lessons
– etc etc

And before the end of the year, it is only £10 per month for as long as you are a member.

It’s going up to £20 in the New Year.

So, the chances are you want to get involved now:
