Can you HELP me?

UnknownYep, I’ve been there.

Like all athletes – I’ve been injured.

And it is frustrating as hell.

All you want to do is get out there and train, get faster, maybe shift a few pounds but most of all feel like you are getting somewhere.

Then you feel it.

The conversation in our heads goes like this:

“Whats that?

Is it bad – No, its nothing!

I’ll be alright.

MMM – Maybe not.

I’ll just go out for a run and see.

S**t, it is bad.

I am INJURED!”

But, why does this happen?

Well, we are in a sport where repetition is key to improvement but unfortunately that repetition leads to overuse.

And if there is a weakness then that overuse will find it.

Then from nowhere – twang!

This is one of the reasons why I am so passionate about strength training in endurance sport.

I believe that strengthening the muscles, tendons and ligaments will when done properly, address any imbalances and weaknesses we have and bulletproof ourselves against injury.

If you are serious about triathlon then this is key.

It’s not unheard of for someone to train all year and then just before their A race feel that twang.

What a waste all that training was – well it wasn’t but you can’t help but think that, at least for a while.

So how can you help me?

Well after the recent success of my E-Book:

The Triathlon Nutrition Code I am thinking of my next digital product, which would be a video.

I was thinking of a home strength session which will make yourself “bulletproof”

or

A gym based session with the same goal.

Which would be better?

Just drop me a message with your thoughts.

In the meantime, if you’ve had a heavy weekend and really need to get your nutrition nailed go here:

The book has sold more than I could have ever hoped in its first week and I’ve had some great feedback, which I am really humbled by and  grateful for.

Oh……

If you want a couple of ideas for some strength stuff have a look at this video I made last week.

This is tougher than it looks:
