I feel like a failiure

21ef41bI have an awful lot of voices going on in my head all the time.

These voices are between me and myself – oh and you now!

You see, just because I write these emails and make videos etc about nutrition etc doesn’t mean I don’t have my own struggles.

These feelings and voices are often as a result of the images and information I am subject to on the internet – mainly facebook.

Pictures of people looking really lean and tanned

Beautiful people

People in tri suits looking better than I could ever dream.

People who appear to be financially well off.

People who appear to be better than me.

Like everyone that can make me feel bad and maybe not as successful as them.

It doesn’t get me down as much as it used to because now I know a lot more – mainly about social media.

These people aren’t better.

Often they aren’t leaner (they may be on the picture but thats one day in the year usually of them looking their absolute best)

Essentially it is a form of deception.

Them saying look at me, I am amazing – buy this ………………..

If I am honest I am the complete opposite to this.

– I’ve ben fat

– I’ve been athletically poor

– I’ve struggled more than probably anyone I know thats involved in sport.

I’m not gifted physically, I don’t have good genes and that’s not an excuse!

Really I would have been better off spending my time doing something away from the sporting world.

But………

Because of the struggle thats made me want to do it more – want to figure it out – want to be like those fit, lean, tanned, good looking people on facebook.

I remember reading once that the best coaches are often the least talented athletes.

The talented ones don’t usually have to work as hard to figure it out.

So actually getting coached by the talented probably means you’re not going to get what you need – unless you’re super talented as well.

Maybe I’m deluded but I think thats why I am a good coach – because of my own struggles.

Thats why I wrote “The Triathlon Nutrition Code” – http://www.nutri-tri.com/e-books/

It cost £9.99 thats like $14 for my US readers.

It’s basically all my nutrition knowledge in a book and a massive shortcut to learning all the stuff I’ve learnt, without the many failures and thousands of pounds spent.

When I released it the insecure voice in my head said:

“I probably won’t sell any”

Thankfully that voice doesn’t know what it was on about – That voice is so often wrong

So why am I plugging it?

Because its awesome and I want you to benefit from all the knowledge in there.

I wan’t you to get what you deserve.

And guess what?

It isn’t even that hard – knowledge truly is power.

Go and get it:
