Eating out

It is one of life’s little pleasures but what do you do when your trying to lose some fat?

There are 3 options:

1 – Don’t go out but life is for living so I don’t recommend this

2 – When you go out, order off menu. By this, I mean make up your own meal. Most menus are not healthy, even the meals which claim to be.

You see restaurants are concerned mainly with taste and making you come back, not helping you drop a couple of kilos so you can get up the hills quicker!

So one option is to order something like:

A piece of steak, then instead of chips or potatoes ask for a big salad and then maybe even some veg.

This will mean a big healthy protein and fat fix, with lots of fibre and micronutrients from the veg and salad. Wash this down with a glass of red wine, skip dessert and you won’t go far wrong.

3 – Eat so well the rest of the time that you can get away with it when you do go out.

This is by far my favoured option and I would recommend this approach for most people.

Apart from those who are forced to eat out more than once a week through work and/or travel.

So how do you get it SO right that you can get away with going out?

You just need a good plan!

One which figures out your calories.

Your macronutrient profile.

Matches this to your training and your body type.

It’s actually pretty easy when you know how.

It’s why I wrote my E-Book – The Triathlete Nutrition Code:

E-Book

It gives you all the information you need to setup the perfect diet for you.

For your physiology.

For your training.

For your goals.

Best still, it is written specifically for the endurance athlete, not just a “normal” person.

Its £9.99 or roughly $12.
