Are all good runners skinny?

There is no denying that running is a weight-bearing sport.

You have to carry your fat/skinny ass with you.

The longer the run goes on, the more of an effect this has – hence why marathon runners are small.

If you look at sprinters though they have even lower body fat %, implying all “Top” runners of any distance perform better when lean.

There is no question that to get the best from your running, getting lighter will help.

It will stop you getting injured.

It will put less stress on your heart and lungs.

This is ironic because the first thing people think of when trying to get faster is training and usually how to do more of it.

Even more ironic is that this is partly in a quest to lose some fat.

The thing is………..

And people still don’t believe this:

Nutrition is far more important to losing fat than your training.

To have a plan which is set for you.

For your body type.

For your training volume.

For your lifestyle.

And then have someone coach you through the challenges is a game changer.

It’s why I am now offering a 100% money back guarantee to my one to one clients.

If you don’t get the results you want, I will literally refund every penny of your investment.

That is a BIG claim but that means it must be backed up.

I have to make it work for you.

I love that pressure – it makes me a better coach.

Now, this isn’t an automated system – you will be working with me one to one.

Email, Skype etc etc.

Pre Christmas is a great time to get your diet sorted.

Training volume is usually a bit lower and starting the new year leaner means you will, without doubt, have a better season.
