Leave it until January

I love Christmas, I really do.

Perhaps not as much as I used to when I was six but it still has a lot of pros.

And, some cons!

One of my issues with it is how long it seems to be going on for.

People were putting up their Christmas trees in November down my street – they can’t hold back their excitement.

Whilst I admire that to some extent we do need to exact some self-control.

From my knowledge of History, people used to put their trees up on Christmas eve – the change is of course due to the commercialisation of the festive period.

Another thing I am not so keen on is how Christmas messes with my training and nutrition.

As I’ve got older and wiser, I’ve come to accept that this change in routine is good but also I must NOT let things completely derail.

I’ve done that and then spent all of January trying to get back to where I was at the beginning of December – Essentially two months lost.

Personally, I will train as much as I can and keep my nutrition on point for as long as I can.

If that means I stray a little from the 25th to the 1st – I am OK with that.

What I am not ok with is straying from the end of November.

If you need a little motivation to stay on track – have a look at my e-book:

The Triathlete Nutrition Code:

http://www.nutri-tri.com/e-books/

It teaches you how to set up the right diet for you.

Calories/macronutrient ratios.

When to eat what.

etc, etc

All for £9.99 ($13 ish)

Even if you do stray over the next couple of weeks, armed with the knowledge from this book you will be raring to go come January:
